MAGICAL JOURNEY VR is a charming Match 3 Puzzle game with a few SURPRISES / Oculus Rift S / RTX 2070
My Initial Impressions:
As a fan of pancake match 3 games I was not holding out much hope for this game, but I was pleasantly surprised!
The developers have added new mechanics and features to this already popular genre, and I have to commend them for that!

This video seems to be the only video of the game up on YouTube so far, so I'm very curious if you've gone back to play more of the game than shown in this video. I feel like the third and fourth worlds could use a bit more refinement. The third world (snow/holiday) is pretty lackluster until the last two levels, when it suddenly becomes amazing (the last two levels of that world are the best of the game, really, but I almost quit before reaching the good bits). Then the fourth world (at least as of right now, when the game hasn't yet been out a month) takes a steep nosedive: it lacks the character and charm of the other worlds, the new turn-counter mechanic is unintuitive; the setting is all doom and stress, with what feels like fake urgency… but then suddenly the urgency is very real and the difficulty ramps up exponentially. I'm not sure I can finish the game, and it's not fun anymore so I'm not sure I want to. I would have been happy at this price point to play just the first three worlds. Curious if anyone's had a better experience – perhaps it's just me…
Always enjoyable your vids. Thanks PD.
Cute one, cool puzzle experience, would probably be great for a Quest 2 when you are on route, traveling
I really like these type of game, but why no quest 2 version? Or is a pc steam version planned?
